Dear All! I bought the UMM of Nello di Giusto from France. Perhaps some of You know the car (from UMM meetings), it is an UMM which was built in 1990 for the french electricity service (EDF) with a cabine which is 40 cm higher and longer than the standard version. The UMM has a turbo engine and I need to know the power for the registration/permission in Germany. Unfortunately the power is not mentioned in the documents. The engine nr. is P152 BEE 032340, the type of the UMM is B11G1 LU. So I don`t know if it is an XD3TE-engine. Can anyone help me? Thanks, Mooro

Hello João,
thank You very much for the immediate reply!! O.k., so the engine has 110 hp, but do You perhaps know where I could get a document where the technical data of the XD3TE/P152B are listed? I cannot find such a document in Google. It could also be a copy of the registration certificate of someones UMM td in Portugal.
best wishes
Pascal

Mooro, any Peugeot dealer can get you an oficial information regarding the characteristics of the engine. If not the local Peugeot dealership, try Peugeot Germany, as they have all the info regarding those motors as they were used in many other platforms.

Best,

Fernando

Welcome to our UMM community.
Just yesterday I spoke with my great friend Nello who told me that he had sold the UMM for German.

You acquired a great machine with a huge history of adventure and travel. Nello and his wife Marie are a huge UMM love and treated UMM very well, you will not regret it for this buy.
In germany it should not be difficult to legalize the UMM, because there are still some of them there.
I'm not sure the exact country in german.
Let's keep in touch and share with us your UMM adventures.
If you need anything, just say so.
Best Regards

P.S. Here some photos of that machine in our last UMM club birthday in Barcelos last november.

Dear All, thank You for advice and the nice pictures of Nellos UMM in Portugal!! Yesterday we brought the UMM to a workshop in the Black Forest where they restore Willys Jeeps and where I got the permission for my first UMM (atmo)in 2007. They are used to old cars and their local inspector is not as bone-headed as they are in most other towns. The guys were confident that the UMM will get the permission, there are only some details which have to be checked. I am looking forward to use the UMM in my work (wetland restoration, forest work). >> I will use the UMM for transport of forest equipment and I will often sleep in the car in the Black Forest. When I get the permission, i can make a thread with details concerning the UMMs new life in the Black-Forest.
Best wishes, Mooro

Hallo Aloevera, Hallo All, Thank You very much for the documents!! they are very useful for me! The engine passed the check so far (emission check), but the UMM has no permission yet. One problem is the brakes: The brake hose at the front axle is fissured and we don't know where to get the new brake hose >> one side is 3/8 inch, the other side 10x1 mm in the metric system. Do You know a series number of the brake hose, so that I could search in the internet for the brake hose or was it manufactured solely for UMM? Best wishes, Mooro
