using veg oil??

Hi all, i want to run the 2.5TD engine on either used or new veg oil, i know the fuel pumps are not good for this but is there a way i can fit a Bosch pump, if i cant i will add a new engine and boxs from a landrover discovery. But would be good to keep the orignal if i can as its a great engine, just uses a lot of diesel whicj isnt cheap ove rhere at near £7 per gallon.

There are 4 good topic's that spoke about that. It seems that some UMMistas had tried that already and some of them had problems with the Lucas Pumps.

Thanks Tomix, i think by the links then i would be best to fit another engine as i do not think a max 30% is much gain when a landrover discovery 200 can run 100% veg oil abd the engines are cheap now, even the 300 are good on veg. I know i can add pre heathers to the system but still not woth the risk of the cost of a new diesel pump.
