BLOODY HELL!!!!

WOW!
I suppose with that one you might have less stress finding parts?!
:)
In very good conditions as well as your UMM Alter II (commercial)

Now I know why you dont want to let your UMM go.

HAHAHA Thx,
Well this one needed a lot of attention. So now a days the unimog is in parts and being re-built.

Parts are not that difficult for us because it's a Mercedes and well know around here. And also far more vehicles of this type are still on the road. And there is a official Unimog club. So yes it's easier than the UMM. But both really great cars.

Kind regards,

Paula

I suppose this Mog when in service was an ambulance right?
It has got all the looks that in the past has been one...

Maybe im wrong.
Very nice pics and a pleasure to see someone outside Portugal trying to give the best of care possible to a UMM.
Yes because NOW WE KNOW YOU AND YOUR FAMILY look after your cars...NOW WE KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE!!!
so no chances you letting the UMM down!!!

Good luck with the Mog Restoration.
Carlos

This particular one has been a Radiowagen for the german army.... But your right, the same versions are used as ambulance.

What do you mean with, you know where we live?
And yes we love old plain cars, so no luxery, but pure car. No speed, but a lot of noice and fun.

Kind regards,

Paula

WE know where you live means exactly that...I have in my possession your full address + the company you work for and all the keys to all your cars.

...and then I woke up in the midle of the desert.:anger:

Paula dont you worry nobody cares where you live - well actually we do like knowing someone as far as Karlstad has got a UMM!
(LOL) actually im telling lies I know you are not in Sweeden but it is my dream to actually drive to Karlstad one of the UMM's im preparing.

And yes most of us here we like "old plain cars".

So your Mog was like a "mobile radio unit" = telecommunications unit for the german army.
Looks gd.

What are you going to do with it?
Restore it? to what extent? looks in gd conditions from here.

Well actually when we bought it it was made a mobile home/camper. So we might build that in again. We don't know yet. Mos important is that the mog is going to drive again. My husband is building a diesel-engin in it, because else it's no fun driving around with these oil prices.... We are going to use it for fun and for travelling, so we can sleep in the back unit.

Kind regards,

Paula
