"Encurtar" a caixa de direcção?

Detesto mesmo mesmo muito a velocidade da caixa de direcção do meu UMM.

É possivel encurtar o curso da caixa, ou seja passar das duas voltas e um pentelho para cada lado, para uma volta e vá-lá, 3 quartilhos?!

Boas Aldeia; basta aumentar o comprimento do pendural para ficar mais directa; mas nao aumentar em demasia para depois nao ficar muito pesada.
